Kanye West and More Spotted at Hakkasan

Grammy winning music artist Kanye West was seen dining at Hakkasan at the MGM Grand on Sunday night. Entering the celebrated culinary outpost just after 9 p.m. following an illustrious performance at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, West started out the evening exploring Hakkasan’s extensive cocktail menu, sipping on signature libations such as the Chinese Mule and The Hakka with close friends. Later in the night, the “All Day” rapper indulged in the Roasted Silver Cod with champagne and Chinese honey as well as the Jasmine tea-smoked short ribs among others. West spent the remainder of his evening enjoying the company of his party and was seen exiting the restaurant close to midnight.
Also in attendance following her debut performance in Taylor Swift’s anticipated music video “Bad Blood”, Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo grabbed a bite to eat at Hakkasan’s bar following the awards show. Pompeo sipped on Lychee martinis and dined on the Hakkasan classic dish Spicy prawns with lily bulb and almonds as she caught up with a close pal, seen laughing and engaging in conversation. The two departed the restaurant sometime close to 10 p.m., and were very pleasant to staff members during their time there.
To add to the weekend’s excitement, pop sensation Joe Jonas stopped by the nightclub with a close group of friends for Hakkasan resident and Grammy Award-winning DJ Tiësto’s set Saturday, May 16. Also in town for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards to support brother Nick’s performance, the musician was seen mingling in both the DJ booth and one of the exclusive VIP Skyboxes. Jonas seemed to be in good spirits before leaving the nightspot around 3:30 a.m.
