Last night, in New York City’s chic TriBeCa neighborhood, heaps of fashionable people came out to attend The Connected Canvas, the first exhibit of 12 by Bisco Smith presented by Soundwall.
Those in attendances include model Coco Rocha, DJ April Hunt, and more.
Rocha arrived hand in hand with her husband James Conran. The Canadian model was sporting a black cut out fitted cocktail dress, flaunting her svelte post-baby bod. Rocha and Conran mingled with artist Bisco Smith, DJ April Hunt, and Soundwall CEO Aaron Cohen. Rocha, who is a new mother-of-one, Instagrammed a photo of herself with her favorite piece alongside the caption:
“Getting hands on with @BiscoSmith’s art at the @soundwallart event! They uniquely combined art, sound and technology in a way that I’ve never seen or heard before. Worth checking out! #soundwall12.”

Rocha’s black ensemble matched perfectly with the black and white theme of the night. Of his color scheme, Smith explained, “It’s all rudimentary and its simplicity and I think I enjoy that it gives you limitation. Because then you see what it is. There is no hiding. It’s raw, that’s it.”

Exclusive opening events are May 12-14. The show will be open to the public by appointment, following opening week.
