2015 Met Gala: Why We Have The Biggest Girl Crush on Cara Delevingne

Any celebrity can pop by Cartier or Harry Winston and layer on fancy jewels—for free, nonetheless. But Cara Delevingne isn’t just any celebrity. The 22-year-old English model truly embraced the theme of last night’s Met Gala, “China: Through The Looking Glass,” by rocking elaborate bird and blossom-inpsired tattoos by celebrity tattoo artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy.

Though Delevingne’s inkings were only temporary, McCurdy has tattooed the supermodel more than a dozen times before, including the lion’s head on her index finger and the word “BACON” written on the bottom of her foot.

In an attempt to let her tattoos shine—and with detail like sprawling branches and ruby red Chinese flowers, who could blame her?!—Delevingne sported a simple black Stella McCartney jumpsuit with cut-outs on top of a sparkly black bustier.
