In Los Angeles, there has been only one hotel room that has reigned supreme in terms of price—until now. The Beverly Wilshire will go neck and neck with The London West Hollywood, who has enlisted the help of Vivienne Westwood to redo its penthouse. Both rooms will run guests $25,000 per night.

So what should you expect to receive with this hefty price tag?

For starters, this room is big. The penthouse is bi-level and 11,000 square feet of space, including 5,000 a 5,000 square foot private outdoor terrace with panoramic city views that can accommodate up to 300 guests (VIP afterparty anyone?).

Did we say private more than once? Let us say it again. Guests will access the tenth floor suite through a private corridor that leads to 6,000 square feet of beautifully designed, open space.

Westwood, the British fashion designer for creating Pharrell Williams’ famed mountie hat—has designed the space to include her own cushions and upholstery, as well as specially curated wall hangings, rugs, and furnishings. The focal point of said entertaining space is a large, Tibetan wool Vivienne Westwood rug in a pale teal squiggle pattern, other quintessential Westwood touches like Union Jacks and tartan are also present.

Other elements to the suite include “The Salon,” which is bordered by two atriums, a water feature, a master bedroom, which includes handmade tapestry and a mirrored dressing room, and exclusive artwork dotting the walls of this chic, designer suite.

The suite officially launches on May 18th; it is part of the hotels massive $25 million renovation which includes L.A. friendly additions like a 110-seat screening room, gym, and junket suites.
