Chef Guy Fieri celebrated the first anniversary of his Las Vegas restaurant, Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at The Linq on Monday afternoon.

Fieri kicked off the celebration by toasting guests around the restaurant and then proceeded to the newly-redesigned patio to cook up his award-winning Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burgers. Fans crowded the patio as the celebrated chef passed out sliders and took selfies. One well-known guest included Super Bowl XLIX champion and New England Patriots player Julian Edelman.

Fieri then proceeded to The Linq Promenade, where Caesars Entertainment president of hospitality Bob Morse presented him the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas award for Best Gastropub. Fieri announced his son, Hunter, had just been accepted to his alma mater, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

He then selected a group of lucky fans to ride the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel. In a Guy-themed cabin, stocked with Miller Lite, Fieri and fans celebrated 550 feet above the Las Vegas skyline.
