Dubai’s premier private City Club and member of the ENSHAA group of companies gets ready for its grand anniversary party on 16 April. Entitled The 7 Year Itch, the event will feature the glitz and glam of the 1950s movie era, renowned especially for Marilyn Monroe and her iconic “silly little dress.”
Starting from the Club’s third floor all the way up to the roof terrace, with its stunning views of the Burj Khalifa and DIFC, the Capital Club will be decked out in 1950s flair, making it the perfect backdrop for party goers to show off their stylish 1950s glamor.
From 8pm, Cara Roberts will be perform her take on the Lady Gaga and Tony Bennet collaboration “cheek to cheek” with the very best music of the era. On other floors there will be a Barbershop Quartet and smooth bluesy jazz, giving the Club’s exclusive members the chance to demonstrate their skills at the Jitterbug, the Stroll, and the Twist. And when a break is needed, Members will be spoilt for choice with a special selection of some of the best local food purveyors popping up across the Club and building on the 1950s themed experience.
In addition to kicking off the celebrations, the Club’s Signature Dining will also play host to the well-established VVIP Ferrari Lounge by Al Tayer Motors, this year with the addition of The Residence, the world’s most exclusive, three room-suite in the sky, by Etihad Airways. As always the Club and its supporters have amazing prizes for the best dressed, including business class flights from Etihad Airways, a stay at the equally exclusive Velaa Private Island, Maldives, Dhamani jewelry, and a ‘Test Drive Lifestyle Experience]. This year will be the first time the Club engages social media to showcase the very best dressed.
