The Urbanist Concept Store Opens in Boxpark Dubai

Recently opened in Dubai’s developing Boxpark in Jumeirah is Urbanist, a store concept that is the brainchild of a Syrian couple who dreamed of a place to offer not only the most sought after international brands to the region, but also the latest trends in fashion, homeware, jewelry, art and design.

Urbanist Store houses internationally renowned designers for women such as Carven, Anya Hindmarch, Comme Des Garcons, Sonia Rykiel, Olympia Le Tan, Stella Jean, Rebecca Minkoff, Paula Cademartori, N21, MSGM, M Missoni, Love Moschino, Rochas, Jil Sander, Vanessa Bruno, J Brand and Goldsign, to name a few.

These designers are featured alongside a range of unique abayas that are at once conservative and modern, perfectly combining the edgy with the traditional Middle Eastern designs that make this region so unique. Men’s Lines will include Marni, Markus Lupfer, Love Moschino and more.

To compliment this eclectic array of designers, the creative team behind the Urbanist Store has also infused the store with a range of globally recognized designers of jewellery and furniture. The unique pieces in-store include aesthetically beautiful, high quality mother of pearl stools, mirrors and cabinets. Additionally, there is a large selection of up-and-coming, contemporary designers of crafts and beauty products that are set to resonate very well in the region.

Furthermore, unique works of art will be available at Urbanist starting with pieces from the internationally acclaimed artist, Sabhan Adam. Internationally renowned, his introspective pieces have been displayed around the globe from New York and Paris to Beirut. A store for one and all, Urbanist eloquently bring together East and West through specialized and often one-of-a-kind fashion, art and design objects.
