Not Just A Label Presents Dubai’s First 3D Printed Dress by Bint Thani and ‘Inter | Act’
Long awaited, ‘Meet D3’, the public community event hosted by Dubai Design District (d3) will present a program of fashion, music, art, design and dining experiences this weekend from the 2 to 4 April.
Among the creatives showing this weekend is NOT JUST A LABEL (NJAL), a leading designer platform for showcasing designers and emerging talent in the contemporary fashion industry with over 18,000 designers from over 100 different countries. Founded in 2008, NJAL encourages designers to produce fashion that is sustainable, while supporting local communities and craftsmanship. At “Meet d3”, NJAL showcases Emirati designer Bint Thani; who collaborates with ‘Inter | Act’ to unveil the first ever 3D printed dress made in Dubai. The collaborative, experimental project is called “Urban Corp”; merging expertise in design, fashion, and 3D printing technology, inspired by the city of Dubai.
‘Meet D3’ runs from 2 to 4 April at Dubai Design District from Thursday 6pm – 12am Friday and Saturday 2pm – 12am.
