Will Ferrell brought his simply smashing charity tennis tournament, Desert Smash, back to the Palm desert for its 11th year on Tuesday—and this time he brought his Get Hard co-star Kevin Hart with him.

The event, which raises funds for Ferrell’s charity, Cancer for College, was attended by Justin Bieber, “Access Hollywood” hosts, Billy Bush and Kit Hoover, Jesse Metcalfe, Justin Chambers, Kevin McKidd, Lance Bass and Boris Kodjoe.

Tennis players who lent their pro skills to the tournament included WTA No. 5 Genie Bouchard, ATP No. 30, Fernando Verdasco, ATP No. 43 Sam Querrey and Pro Mardy Fish.

At the tournament, Ferrell was up to his usual tricks. Due to an upper quad injury, that he showcased to EVERY spectator at Desert Smash, Will was unable to play in his headline match with Justin Bieber vs. Kevin Hart/Billy Bush.  He didn’t let that stop him, however, posing as lead umpire throughout each match, cracking jokes that made Hart lose focus during his match.

Capping off the epic day of tennis at La Quinta Resort & Spa, Ferrell hosted the Desert Smash Player Party, which featured special performances by Bieber, Lifehouse, Natasha Bedingfield and DJ Bob Sinclair. Bieber closed the show with an acoustic set specially dedicated to Ferrell. Haute!
