
Marketing CEO Herb Karlitz Toasts Citymeals-on-Wheels in Harlem
The CEO of Karlitz and Company hosted a star and chef-studded bash to celebrate NYC's Citymeals-On-Wheels program and 25th anniversary of his culinary marketing agency.

Over the busy weekend, marketing mogul Herb Karlitz had two big reasons to party. The CEO of Karlitz and Company hosted a star and chef-studded bash to celebrate NYC’s Citymeals-On-Wheels program and the 25th anniversary of his culinary marketing agency.
The exciting evening, held at Ginny’s Supper Club, featured over 150 guests and a number of stars including, Marcus Samuelsson, Francois Payard, Elizabeth Falkner, Scott Conant, Frank Pellegrino, Dino Gatto, and Alex Guarnaschelli.
Karlitz proved to be a giving host, offering his guests an open bar filled with 25-year old vintage wines and bottles of champagne sourced from his own personal cellar. The menu also included a number of signature cocktails, éclairs from Francois Payard, and meatballs from the Harlem eateries Rao’s and Red Rooster.
The evening’s festivities were for a good cause. Citymeals-On-Wheels, one of the nation’s largest meals-on-wheels programs, serves up two million meals to 18,000 elderly city residents. Before the night of drinking gnoshing was done, Karlitz presented a check to Citymeals Board Co-President Daniel Boulud and Director of Partnership & Events Robin Stein.
Karlitz also announced that the upcoming Harlem EatUp! Festival, which he co-founded with celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, will help benefit Citymeals-On-Wheels and Harlem Park to Park.
