Jessica Alba and Jennifer Meyer Celebrate Charity Necklace Collaboration

The Jennifer Meyer xo Jessica Alba collection features two delicate heart necklaces, of which include an 18K yellow gold piece priced at $280, and a more elaborate ruby heart necklace for $980, sold exclusively at Gilt.com.

 The designs support (RED)’s fight for an AIDS-free generation. Each necklace purchased will be able to provide over 9 months of lifesaving medication to an HIV+ pregnant woman in need.  This medication will not only keep her alive and healthy, but it will also prevent her from transmitting the virus to her unborn baby.

(RED) was founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver to engage businesses and people in the fight against AIDS. The charitable company partners with the world’s most iconic brands who contribute up to 50% of profits from (RED)-branded goods and services to the Global Fund.

To celebrate, the friends of 10 years hosted an intimate dinner at Sunset Tower for their celebrity pals. Those at the female-friendly soiree included Kerry Washington, Ellen Pompeo, Molly Sims, Rachel Zoe, Sara Foster, Erin Foster, Brigette Romanek, Kelly Patricof, Emily Current, Meritt Elliott, Estee Stanley, Jamie Schneider and Katherine Power.
