Jaeger-LeCoultre Hosts Star-Studded ‘Women in Cinema’ Lunch in London

Haute horology and Hollywood’s hottest stars came together in London to salute women in cinema.

Right in the fray of awards season, luxury watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre and Consultancy agency Finch & Partners hosted the ‘Women in Cinema’ luncheon at Maison Assouline in London. The event, held on Wednesday, was a celebration of the art of filmmaking, and the creative minds that push the industry forward. The star-studded guest list included Salma Hayek, Gemma Arterton, Annabelle Wallis, Charlotte Riley, Mariella Frostrup, Liza Marshall, Kate Driver, Sarah Gavron, Susanna White, Andrea Wong, and Christine Langan.

Participants enjoyed a scrumptious picnic style lunch of tomato bruschetta, dressed salad of young leaves, Bellota-Bellota Grand Cru ham, Fillet Tolstoy smoked salmon and L’Ami Louis foie gras. Chocolate Grand Cru was served for dessert.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has a long and storied history with the cinematic arts. The Swiss watchmaker has been an official partner of the Venice International Film Festival for nearly a decade, and confers the Glory to the Filmmaker Award to a filmmaker chosen by the director of the festival each year. The company has also launched the Filmmaker in Residence Program, an initiative that which supports aspiring filmmakers in realizing their future projects.
