Haute 100 Miami: Pharrell Williams Releases His Own Adidas Stan Smith
Guys everywhere are pairing white sneakers with overcoats, blazers and even suits. Why not? It’s a great way to dress down a suit and give off a sense of iconoclasm while still looking not at all underdressed. Few sneakers are more revered in menswear fashion than the adidas Stan Smith. Because of this, adidas re-introduced the Stan Smith to its product roster in 2014 and even had Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons do his own take on the Stan Smith; the collaboration proved highly successful. Pharrell Williams, who started his design collaboration with adidas on a line of $1000 track suits last year, is the next designer to contribute a new look to the Stan Smith: the Pharrell Williams x adidas “Stan Smith Polka Dots” pack. The sneakers look wonderful; they come in classic colors red, black and white and are given design flair with some eye-grabbing polka dots.
David Beckham found himself in a pretty serious car crash after picking up his son Brooklyn at school last November. Though the news is anything as good it might prove beneficial to someone looking to get a good deal on a hot new set of wheels. The Audi RS6 that Beckham drove is now for sale on Ebay for 42,995 euros, almost half the price that Beckham paid for it. Advertised as an “ex-celebrity car,” the buyer better just hope that a good automotive repair was responsible for restoring the vehicle.
