Bentley Sales Grow Again in 2014

2014 has been another record breaking year for the British luxury marquee Bentley: The brand delivered 11,020 cars worldwide — a nine percent increase in sales over 2013.

The brand had a fairly busy 2014 with new launches: the Continental GT V8 S, the GT Speed coupe/convertible and the Flying Spur V8 all came to the market last year. In 2015 Bentley will embark on a milestone year for the brand as it readies the much awaited luxury SUV we all have been waiting for.

Key regions for the brand include the US, China, Europe and Middle East. While all regions saw swift sales, the US retained its position as the brand’s number one market. China, meanwhile, has closed the gap as the second largest region for Bentley.

Commenting on the results, Bentley’s Chairman and CEO, Wolfgang Dürheimer, said, “2014 marked an exceptional year for Bentley, as our record breaking pattern continued. We delivered more cars than ever before, and we now operate in more markets than at any point in our 96 year history, a perfect example of our truly international appeal.”
