Kris Knight is a Canadian painter whose work examines performance in relation to the construction, portrayal, and boundaries of sexual and asexual identities. Last night a cocktail party was hosted in his honor by Gucci and Spinello Projects, a Miami-based contemporary art program founded in 2005 by Anthony Spinello.

Guests of the event got the chance to preview Knight’s new solo exhibition, Smell The Magic. Knight’s work was referred to as a source of inspiration for the Gucci Fall/Winter 2014 collection.
