This week in Los Angeles was all about fashion and philanthropy. Max and Lubov Azaria held a fashion show at home, Tom Ford has been named an inspiration by amfAR and Larry Ellison hosted a benefit to save California’s wildlife. Here are some of the top sartorial and charitable moments of the week.

Max and Lubov Azria invited fashonistas and media into their L.A. home to host three separate fashion presentations, including BCBG Runway, BCBG Ready-to-Wear and Herve Leger with an event host committee that included Jamie Chung and stylist Nicole Chavez. 

LARRY ELLISON HOSTS WILDLIFE BENEFIT

Oracle chief Larry Ellison and girlfriend Nikita Kahn hosted a VIP benefit for the California Wildlife Center at Ellison’s Malibu hotspot, Nikita, on Sunday. Guests like Kathryn Bigelow, Bradley Cooper, David Foster and Megan Ellison were on hand to help raise $600,000 for the institution. Chris Botti wowed the intimate crowd with a surprise performance.

LEONARDO DICAPRIO ANNOUNCES HAUTE ST. TROPEZ FUNDRAISER

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation has announced its inaugural St. Tropez Gala, which will take place on the French Riviera at the Domain Bertraud Belieu on July 23rd. The Gala will be hosted by Foundation Chairman Leonardo DiCaprio; attendees will include fundraising chairman Milutin Gatsby, Foundation executive cirector, Justin Winters, and the event’s chairs: Boris Collardi, Philippe Cousteau and Jared Leto. There will be several special performances during the event, including soulful singer and songwriter Robin Thick.The first ever St. Tropez Gala will support the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, dedicated to protecting Earth’s last wild places and implementing solutions to build a more harmonious relationship between humanity and the natural world. Proceeds of the gala will support global conservation efforts that protect our oceans, forests, wild lands and endangered species.

WALK WITH SALLY’S SOUTH BAY FUNDRAISER On July 19th, Walk With Sally transformed the rooftop of The Plaza at Continental Park into a heavenly oasis complete with gourmet bites from the South Bay’s finest restaurants, Patron cocktails and a limo photo-booth. Over 1,200 guests gathered in white couture to enjoy an evening of food, drinks, music, and good times, raising over $400,00 for the charity, which provides free-of-charge mentoring and support services to children of parents or siblings with cancer.

TRACY ANDERSON ANNOUNCES VITALITY WEEK Tracy Anderson will host the first Los Angeles ViTAlity Week at the Tracy Anderson Brentwood studio on Saturday, September 13, 2014. The Tracy Anderson Los Angeles ViTAlity Week offers a life-changing opportunity to work with Tracy and her senior team where attendees will acquire the knowledge, support, and up to date tools to experience and maintain a comprehensive physical transformation.

TOM FORD TO BE HONORED BY AMFAR Tom Ford will receive the Award of Inspiration at amfAR’s fifth annual Inspiration Gala Los Angeles on Oct. 29. At the Inspiration Gala, a celebration of men’s style, amfAR will recognize both his contributions to men’s wear design and his commitment to combating the AIDS crisis. The event will be chaired by amfAR chairman Kenneth ColeBryan Lourd and Aileen Getty, and co-chaired by Simon Halls and Matt Bomer

PETIT TROIS OPENS ITS DOORS Petit Trois is finally open, and we think that’s tres magnifique! Master chefs Ludo Lefebvre, Jon Shook, and Vinny Dotolo are now serving up French bistro fare with American influences as a sister project ot their first collaboration, Trois Mec.
