The opening of SLS’ flagship Las Vegas property is going to be the Sin City event of the year, as far as we’re concerned. We were lucky to take a sneak peek at the property earlier this week with Sam Nazarian, the founder, chairman and CEO of SBE, the SLS Las Vegas’ parent company. Here’s what you can expect to see when the SLS opens its doors for good on August 23rd.

There are not one but TWO Jose Andres properties. The iconic Spanish chef will open Bazaar Meat, a meat-focused take on his popular fusion eatery, The Bazaar, as well as his take on Chinese cuisine, Ku Noodles.

You’ll find other fan favorite eateries at the SLS, including Katsuya by STARCK, Cleo, Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book, 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, The SLS Buffet, The Perq and – wait for it – a Las Vegas outpost of The Griddle Cafe. Angelenos know what that means: red velvet pancakes galore as your late night (because let’s be honest, no one in Sin City is having an early morning) treat.

You’ll find a series of SBE’s best nightlife venues, including The Sayers Club, Foxtail, Foxtail Pool Club, Monkey Bar and the new concept club LiFE as well its outdoor poolside counterpart, Beach LiFE.

Like we said, it’s going to be epic. If you had any doubts as to how you’ll be spending your Labor Day weekend, we hope we’ve made your decision a little easier.
