Gumball 3000 Kicks Off In Miami Beach
Miami Haute 100-lister Gil Dezer is competing in this years Gumball 3000 rally, a 3,000-mile intercontinental British motor rally that kicked off today on Ocean Drive in South Beach and ends in Ibiza on June 12th. Dezer is not only an accomplished businessman and the largest ocean front property owner in Florida, but he also holds the title of 2009 Gumball 3000 champion.
The automobile line-up is impressive. It includes a velvet Rolls Royce, Porsche Aventador, Mercedes G-Class, 1963 Jaguar Mk2, Brabus Super G 700 6×6, Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray, 2010 Wiesmann F5M, Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, and Audi R8.
This year’s route hits two continents, five countries, and eight cities: Miami, Atlanta, New York, Edinburgh, London, Paris, Barcelona, and Ibiza. The race will be filled with parties, concerts, and VIP hospitality for all participants.
The pre-party kicked off last night with Deadmau5, world renown DJ and a competitor in this years rally, at WALL at W South Beach. The festivities continued to Ocean Drive this morning, where the flag was dropped at 10am. Next stop: Atlanta. Good luck, Gil!
