The big announcement of today was that Lady Gaga has confirmed that the ARTPOP Ball global tour will now kick off its European leg in Dubai on 10 September 2014 due to the addition of a new show at Meydan Racecourse. The announcement was made today by AMI Live and ATW LIVE in association with Live Nation Global Touring.
The ARTPOP Ball tour is supporting the multi-platinum-selling artist’s latest album ARTPOP which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200. With over 775,000 tickets sold to date, the multi-month tour which opened last week in Ft. Lauderdale – complete with latex, tentacles, sequins and more – will travel to 35 cities and festivals throughout North America before it moves to Asia and Australia prior to its arrival in the Europe.
