Longines Fêtes Kentucky Oaks Day 2014 with a Fabulous Fashion Contest

Longines, Swiss watch brand and official watch and timekeeper of the 140th Kentucky Derby, hosted a Kentucky Oaks Fashion Contest on this year’s Kentucky Oaks Day, Friday, May 2nd.

The winsome dames who participated in the contest showcased their finest Derby style on the “pink carpet,” which took place at the official Kentucky Derby site, Churchill Downs.

The classy competition charged a star-studded panel, which included actor and Longines Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker, fashion TV personality Carson Kressley and Souther Living style editor Stephanie Granada, with the difficult task of choosing the lovely lady who best embodied the elegance of the Derby. The winner of the contest, Criselda Breene, was awarded an enviable Longines timepiece from the Conquest Classic collection.
