Haute Jewelry of the Week: Tiffany’s Atlas Collection

Created by John Loring, Tiffany’s Atlas Collection presents a stunning ensemble of refined lines that recalls the structure of the raised Roman numerals in the Atlas watch, which was introduced in 1983.  An icon of style, the timepiece features an hour track of brightly polished Roman-numeral markers in high relief. It is one of Loring’s favorite designs because, as he says, “it has translated so brilliantly into jewelry that is a true statement of fashion.”

The collection presents bangles, necklaces, rings and pendants in 18-carat gold, rose or white gold and sterling silver with diamonds. Like its archetypal watch the collection’s signature are its Roman numerals. Tiffany has used these classic symbols of empire in elegant jewelry that is emblematic of American design through a recognizably sleek and modern look.

The collection is unique in its ability to marry a sophisticated American aesthetic with the harmonious structure found in ancient Roman numerals. The pieces are even more stunning for their ability to be worn with a variety of outfits by women from cultures all over the world.

Tiffany’s is located at The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.
