Wooster Spring Benefit

On April 29th, the Wooster Group celebrated their spring benefit dinner with a lavish affair at a beautiful baroque townhouse at 632 Hudson Street. The New York based company is comprised of artists that concentrate on theater, dance and media. They originally perform at The Performing Garage at 33 Wooster Street, but they can also be seen at larger theaters in New York such as the Baryshnikov Arts Center, St. Ann’s Warehouse, and the Public Theater.

After mingling throughout the property enjoying cocktails, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner by Chef Odette Fada. The event was hosted by Steve Buscemi, Buck Henry, Frances McDormand, Mike Nichols, Lorne Michaels, and Maura Tierney. Other notable guests include Catherine Orentreich, Eric Fischl and April Gornik, Siri Hustvedt, Sean and Mary Kelly, Mark Morris, Diane Sawyer, Shelley Wanger and The Wooster Group’s founder Elizabeth LeCompte.
