Super Saturday Coming to LA

News | April 8, 2014

Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's 16th Annual Super Saturday hosted by Kelly Ripa, Donna Karan and InStyle

Ladies of Los Angeles, get ready: you’re about to embark on the shopping spree of a lifetime — and in the name of charity, too.

For the first time ever this spring, Super Saturday, the annual summertime event of the Hamptons, is heading to LA.

On May 17, Molly Sims, Rachel Zoe and husband Rodger Berman will host the east coast charity event on the west coast in honor of its 20th year anniversary.

The fashion bacchanalia benefitting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund will take place at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar. The day-long fundraiser will include a one-of- a-kind designer garage sale, kids’ carnival and activities, a luxury raffle and gourmet treats.

Last year’s OCRF Super Saturday event in the Hamptons was co-hosted by Kelly Ripa and Donna Karan and raised $3.5 million.

The Designer Garage Sale included participation from premier designers like Theory, Vince, Robert Rodriguez, Diane Von Furstenberg, Helmut Lang and has consistently attracted celebrity attendees including Blake Lively, Heidi Klum, Ashley Greene, Rachel Zoe, Emma Roberts, Kristin Davis and Molly Sims.

Tickets are available now, but recommend you go VIP, a ticket of which includes early entrance, a special tented area to rest and relax, complimentary valet, expedited cashier process, a shopping bag and bag check assistance in carrying items to car.
