Jack of all trades James Franco is at it again: the 35-year-old actor, professor, producer, poet, photographer and artist not only stars in, but also directed, Gucci’s latest ad campaign.

The video, an advertisement for the luxury brand’s “Techno Color” eyewear collection, is a gorgeous 30-second spot highlighting the best of luxe Los Angeles.

In the clip, he is seen living the LA dream, driving down Sunset Blvd. in a haute vintage car with a Gucci billboard at his back.

While looking chic in tailored suits and the aforementioned sunglasses, Franco lives the high life.

He is seen frolicking in the pool of the Chateau Marmont with model Natalia Bonifacci, whom he kisses seductively on the billboard. The two also appear to be playing out the “life is but a dream” scenario, seductively sipping on designer cocktails and walking through a sultry bamboo-strewn path.

This isn’t Franco’s first campaign for the Italian fashion house, of course. He has been a spokesperson for the brand since 2008, and appeared in a series of ads as early as 2009. Before the “Techno Color” eyewear campaign, he previously hawked Gucci’s “Made to Measure” fragrance. He also produced The Director, a 2013 documentary about Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini.
