Haute Event: Nicky Romero Spins at Light Nightclub

The Daylight Beach Club grand opening celebration continued at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay with a special DJ set by dance music megastar Nicky Romero.

Before his big show, Romero fueled up at Red Square at Mandalay Bay. He then headed to a packed house at Light and opened up his set with a jaw-dropping performance by the nightclub’s Cirque du Soleil artists. Winged performers, wearing masks and avant garde wigs flew through the air above the dance floor while dazzling graphics flashed across the jumbo panoramic screens.

Then Romero appeared and kicked off his set with dance favorites including “Celebrate Our Love” and a remix of his song “Toulouse.” Partygoers danced non-stop during his set as he played hit after hit. He also dropped the club favorite, “Legacy,” that features fellow Light resident DJs Krewella. After a fun-filled day and night, Romero retired to his room to prepare for a flight back to Amsterdam.’
