Laura Schwartz to Emcee The 2014 Chicago Heart Ball
Laura Schwartz, motivational speaker, author of Eat, Drink & Succeed and Television Commentator is honored to emcee the 2014 Chicago Heart Ball on April 12 for the American Heart Association (AHA) to help raise awareness for its life-saving mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. As the evening’s Mistress of Ceremonies, Laura will set the tone for the black-tie fundraising gala with her dynamic personality and her shared passion for the cause as one of AHA’s active board members.
Attended by more than 850 individuals from Chicago’s business, medical and social communities, Laura will lead the audience through a fun, inspiring and entertaining evening and help demonstrate to the supporters and sponsors in the audience how their efforts are helping put an end to cardiovascular disease – the number one cause of death for all Americans. The proceeds raised from the event will be used to fund valuable research, education and advocacy efforts of the American Heart Association. The Chicago Heart Ball will be held at Navy Pier’s Grand Ballroom (600 E. Grand).
On Friday, May 9 Laura will host the Go Red for Women luncheon in Highwood for a group of about 250 women as part of the Suburban Go Red For Women campaign – a host of events to educate and share the importance of the heart health of women. Laura is also the emcee for the annual Chicago Heart Walk in Grant Park every September, which aims to raise more than $3,000,000 in donations.
