Kate Middleton’s Favorite Label Hobbs is Coming to NYC
The only thing that New Yorkers covet more than Kate Middleton‘s shiny chestnut locks is her enviable style. And now, emulating her chic streamlined wardrobe is going to get a little bit easier. The British label Hobbs—a favorite of the Duchess of Cambridge—is opening five shops in the US, including one in NYC!
The stores, which will range in size from 400 to 1,000 square feet, will be located at Bloomingdale’s at 59th Street in New York; Chestnut Hill in Boston; King of Prussia, Pa.; Tysons Corner in McLean, Va., and The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, N.J, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
Online sales of the British brand have increased by 50 percent throughout the current quarter as compared to last year, thanks in part to the launch of an American website late last year. The company’s marketing and e-commerce director, Clare Dobbie, says that Hobbs’ tailoring and dresses have been immensely popular with US customers. The line plans to offer shoes and coats this fall.
