
Graff Unveils $55 Million Hallucination at BaselWorld 2014
Got a several millions to spare? Well, Graff's got you covered with Hallucination—a $55 million piece featuring more than 110 carats of colored diamonds.
Graff made its first appearance at BaselWorld this year, and they certainly have made an impression! The manufacture unveiled ‘Hallucination’, an exceptionally rare $55 million multi-coloured diamond timepiece.
Hallucination, which is estimated to be the most valuable watch ever created, features a kaleidoscope of more than 110 carats of extremely rare colored diamonds. According to the manufacture, the inspiration for this unique piece came directly from Laurence Graff, Chairman of Graff Diamonds. It took the manufacture’s team of designers, gemologists and Master Craftsmen thousands of hours to create.
Regarding the unveiling, Graff commented, “The Graff Hallucination is a sculptural masterpiece; a celebration of the miracle of coloured diamonds. For many years I have thought about creating a truly remarkable watch that illustrates our all consuming passion for diamonds. The Hallucination has made my diamond dream a reality.”
