Sweet Spot: Chocolate Classic to Benefit RESPONSE in Aspen

For 20 years, people in Aspen have gathered for a decadent event to taste the town’s best sweets. But it’s not for pure indulgence. The Chocolate Classic, Feb. 12, gives restaurants a chance to show off their best chocolate desserts in a grand tasting all to benefit RESPONSE, a nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

More than 30 chocolatiers donate their desserts for the event. Guests can also purchase a VIP ticket for early access to the chocolate room and treatment in the VIP cocoa room. It takes place at the Hotel Jerome from 5:30 to 8 p.m. this Wednesday, Feb. 12. Tickets start at $25 and go up to $125 for a VIP couple. For more information, visit RESPONSE.
