Simon Cowell fell in love again on Valentine’s Day — the day his son, Eric, was born.

Lauren Silverman, the X-Factor judge’s girlfriend, gave birth to the couple’s first son on Feb. 14; she also has an 8-year-old son with her ex, Andrew Silverman.

Cowell had been conducting auditions for “Britain’s Got Talent” in London while his girlfriend was in labor, so hopped on a plane and jetted back to the U.S. for the birth of his son.

He posted heartfelt shots to Twitter on Sunday, writing “I never knew how much love and pride I would feel” with the photo of Eric cradled to his chest.

Eric weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
