Haute Event: The 16th Costume Designers Guild Awards

The most fashionable of the event of the week was, by far, the 16th Costume Designers Guild Awards.

The Lacoste-sponsored ceremony honored the best of Hollywood haute couture with awards for costume design excellence at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday night.

Five-time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams took home the LACOSTE Spotlight Award, which was presented to her by Jeremy Renner, her co-­star in American Hustle.

The Distinguished Collaborator Award was presented to writer, producer and director, Judd Apatow by Bill Hader and Jonah Hill in recognition of his support of Costume Design and creative partnerships with Costume Designers.

Actors Debra Winger and Ciarán Hinds presented Emmy Award-­winning designer April Ferry with the Honorary Career Achievement Award for her outstanding work in film and television.

The 2014 Costume Designers Guild Distinguished Service Award was presented to Sharon Day, a longtime member of the Costume Designers Guild Local 892, for her dedication and tireless efforts on behalf of the Guild.

Joshua Malina hosted the event, which was attended by stars such as Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Olivia Munn, Tony Hale, Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, Kiernan Shipka, James Wolk, Kathleen Robertson, Geoff Stults, Elisabeth Röhm, Raquel Welch, Steve Coogan, J. August Richards, June Squibb and Will Forte.

Guests arrived in Audi sedans for the evening of fashion excellence.
