Cookie Johnson Surprised with Fete Celebrating her Fashion Line at Neiman Marcus

Cookie Johnson had a magical day over the weekend when, unbeknownst to her, a simple trunk show turned into a 5-year anniversary bash.
The designer and philanthropist was showcasing her denim collection — CJ by Cookie Johnson — at Neiman Marcus Topanga when she was surprised by a party and guests such as husband Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Neicy Nash, Simone I. Smith and Pat Harvey.
At the event, Magic presented his fashion-forward wife with a three-tiered cake to commemorate the occasion before guests enjoyed sweet treats, modeling and personal styling tips from Cookie.
Johnson also introduced The Charity Jean and The Charity Tee, which benefit The Magic Johnson Foundation. $10 from each Charity Jean and $2 from each Charity Tee sold will be donated to the foundation in support of their HIV/AIDS initiatives.
