The renowned fashion designer will join LACMA’s Fashion Council for a conversation with Stefano Tonchi of W.
The discussion will be presented with Diane von Furstenberg: Journey of a Dress, which will be on view from January 1 – April 1 at the Wilshire May Company Building adjacent to LACMA.
Furstenberg has been a fixture in the fashion world since 1972; she created her iconic wrap dress in 1974. In 2005, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for her impact on fashion, and one year later was elected the CFDA’s president, an office she continues to hold.
