Haute 100 NY Update: Marc Jacobs Chooses Miley Cyrus for Spring/Summer 2014 Print Campaign
2014 is shaping up to be a good year for Miley Cyrus! The 21-year-old singer, widely known for her shameless selfies and controversial twerking moves, recently showed off her sophisticated side in Marc Jacobs‘ spring/summer 2014 campaign.
The new high-fashion advertisement shows Cyrus seated on a sandy beach wearing an ornate blue and black cropped jacket, maroon shorts and embroidered ankle booties. She’s wearing minimal makeup… just a smidge of dark eyeliner and nude lip gloss… yet her skin looks absolutely stunning.
Instead of decking her out in jewels, Jacobs chose to let his designs shine through by accenting the outfit with only windswept hair, jet black nail polish—and Cyrus’ tattoos. The singer has been a fan of Jacobs’ designs for years, often choosing to don them at various red carpet events including FGI Night of Stars and the Met Gala.
