Arnold Schwarzenegger Signs $3 Million Deal To Star in Super Bowl Ad
Despite his strong views on the importance of health and fitness, Arnold Schwarzenegger has agreed to star in a Super Bowl commercial for Bud Light… in exchange for a hefty paycheck. According to Page Six, The Terminator actor will receive $3 million for starring in the advertisement, which will run during Super Bowl XLVIII.
Given the Super Bowl’s notoriously high ratings, advertisers spend approximately $4 million for a short 30 second spot during big game. To get the most bang for their buck and drum up as much buzz as possible, many brands have tapped A-list celebrities such as Stephen Colbert, David Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Laurence Fishburne, Danica Patrick and Ben Kingsley to appear in their ads during the Feb. 2 game.
