Theatre Aspen Announces “The Full Monty,” “Little Women” for Summer
After a spectacular 2013 30th anniversary season presenting “Les Miserables,” Theatre Aspen announced it’s returning next year with something more revealing: “The Full Monty.” Adapted from the 1997 British film, the musical earned 10 Tony Award nominations and will open the season June 24, 2014.
In addition, Theatre Aspen will present “Little Women,” a play based on Louisa May Alcott’s 1860s novel of four sisters growing up in Massachusetts. That production begins July 2. Sandy Rustin’s’ “The Cottage” will round out the summer repertoire.
Tickets go on sale in early January. For more information, visit Theatre Aspen.
