Switch Modern Opens New, Larger Showroom

Switch Modern just got a whole lot bigger. Just this week, the furniture retailer known for its European designers and contemporary lines of furniture opened their new and expanded location in West Midtown. At 25,000 square feet, this spot is five times bigger than the previous location and has even more great items. The new showroom still has favorites lines including beloved lines like Poliform, Minotti, Bocci, Flexform, B&B Italia Outdoor in addition to new lines like FLOS, MDF Italia, Walter Knoll, Verpan and more – there will be 80 lines in all.

So what you can you expect in the new showroom? First, there are larger branded boutiqus including shop-in-shops for Alessi and Kartell and a significant 2,400 square-foot Poliform shop-in-shop. Lesser known designers and companies now have room to shine including MDF Italia, ClassiCon, Thonet, Bocci, Roll & Hill, Dyson, Rich Brilliant Willing and Bitossi.  Also expect expanded bath offerings including Rifra and now Agape and a huge outdoor furniture display showcasing companies like Gandia Blasco, RODA, B&B Italia Outdoor, Paola Lenti, Kenneth Cobonpue, and Khori Design.

And just in time for holiday shopping, Switch Modern now has an expanded accessories division with an expansive selection of dishes, flatware, glassware and gifts. Here are some of the hot items on our holiday list this season.
