In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Moschino held an exclusive Spring/ Summer 2014 collection preview at the Andrew Martin Gallery at DIFC. The interactive event began by having guests walk through a digital tunnel showcasing the brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 runway show. The surroundings were transformed into a pop fantasy world with cartoons hanging from the ceiling, old school arcade games and quirky furniture.
The preview featured must-have pieces from the Moschino’s women’s collection including an iridescent bouclé jacket with large metallic zippers and chain bracelets on the cuffs,  pearl embroidery on lightweight, see-through dresses and embroidered looks on fabrics in white, black and red as well as garments and accessories with raised lettering.
The Men’s collection featured graphic motifs that represented Shanghai through multi-colored neon strips of logos and all-over prints recurring on various garments in the collection, including on jacket to trousers. Evening saw formal and elegantly structured garments, with dinner jackets featuring shawl collars or classic lapels embellished with jacquard and interwoven with red, black and gold threads.
The interactive evening also included a vintage animated flipbook photo activity as well as live entertainment by soul, R&B and jazz singer Kerrie Ann and DJ Karim Barkouki, which saw guests get up and dance throughout the evening.
