Taking place at the Empty Quarter in the Dubai International Financial Center, the opening showcased the Schroeder Joailliers Swiss watch line, a collection of distinctive timepieces with complicated mechanisms such as the five minute repeater and limited editions like the titanium cased sports chronograph, of which only 200 pieces were made. Other pieces included a solid gold chronograph with a Valjoux 92 movement as well as the exquisite skeleton collection with eight day power reserves.
Founder of Marz Global, Khalid Al Marzooqi, is an enthusiastic young Emirati entrepreneur with a passion for luxury accessories. He saw the potential for a brand like Schroeder in Dubai’s burgeoning market for luxury goods.
“This is a great milestone for Schroeder Joailliers,” said Rossy. “The brand has officially entered the central hub of the world at a time when the region is experiencing a wave of a great accomplishment, especially after Dubai recently won the EXPO 2020,” said Mr. Rossy.
The launch also exhibited the award-winning Tagliatelle piece along with a sneak peak of their 2014 Pas De Deux collection. It was attended by Schroeder Joailliers fifth generation owner, Pierre Rossy, Founder of Marz Global, Khalid Al Marzooqi as well as watch and jewelry enthusiasts from the region.
