The Hautest Toys For Tots Drive feat. Ferrari’s, Bugatti’s and a Pagani

Amidst one of the busiest weeks of my life in Miami, with endless social obligations and minimal sleep, of course I had to fit in some charity work, and it just happened by accident. My friend Didier Theard of ADV. 1 came to Miami from his home of Haiti for Art Basel, but also for the annual Toys for Tots drive, where every year upwards of four hundred Ferrari’s, Aston Martin’s, Lamborghini’s, Bugatti’s and even one special Pagani (a two million dollar carbon fiber piece of art) drove from The Diplomat’s Golf Club to Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, ending at Sun Life Stadium. Here is the cool thing about it all: every car must be full of toys, because after all it is not at all a car race, but a elegant yet decadent drive for charity.

Carefully planned out, the Broward County Police Department shut down 1-95 for the duration of the drive, when the uber-luxe gathered to make a difference and better the holiday season of children who may not have received a gift if it weren’t for this organization.

Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Prestige Imports, Warren Henry and The Collection sponsored the day and Haute Living lover  Brett David and Television Star Jonathan Cheban with his girlfriend Anat Popovsky were present for all of the activities. I must say, with nearly two hours of sleep under my belt, it was one of the most wonderful and fulfilling Saturdays I have had in a long time.
