Kobe Bryant and Sam Nazarian were among the honorees at Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles’ Wishing Well Winter Gala in Beverly Hills last week.
The LA Lakers star received the organization’s Shining Star Award, while the SBE principal accepted the Corporate Leadership Award during the gala, held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The Children’s Hospital Los Angeles also received the Medical Visionary Award during the ceremony.
Kelly Osbourne and Bryant both made extremely generous donations during the live auction, as wish kids cheered on bidders from the stage.
Additional celebrity guests at the event included Andy Garcia, Christina Milian, Lance Bass, Kat Graham, Bill Rancic, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, Samantha Ronson, Aeriel Miranda, Heather and Terry Dubrow, Paul Nassif, Maria Menounos and Ross Mathews; Giuliana Rancic hosted the ceremony.
Proceeds from the gala will support wish kids, as Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
