Wallis Annenberg + Ferragamo’s Week-Long Celebration Kicks Off Today

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is finally making its debut in LA, and its founders are throwing a week-long party to celebrate.


Salvatore Ferragamo will kick off the festivities by hosting a dedication ceremony this morning, to be followed by a black-tie gala on Thursday evening hosted by Brad Pitt, Robert Redford and Jamie TIsch.

Ferragamo’s involvement in the evening will also include a fashion runway presentation of the Spring Summer 2014 collection by Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti. Guests will also enjoy a unique performance by Italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo.

A second night of gala festivities will take place on Friday, where Wolfgang Puck will cater a dinner that will also include, cocktails, hors d’ouerves and surprise entertainment in the Bram Goldsmith Theater.

The opening festivities will unveil a Salvatore Ferragamo pop-up shop, open through November 15th to the public, within the Center’s Grand Hall.
