The Pearl inside Palms was literally shaking from the greatness of hard rock that filled the venue with the bass and shattering vocals of both Korn and opener Asking Alexandria on Saturday night. After opening performances by Love and Death and Asking Alexandria, Korn took the stage and didn’t disappoint. Performing songs that solidified their position as one of the best live rock bands around including “Falling Away From Me” and “Are You Ready,” Korn also performed songs from their newly released album The Paradigm Shift, which just hit retailers on Oct. 8.

The Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum hard rock innovators were in full force with the strong lineup of Jonathan Davis (vocals), James “Munky” Shaffer (guitar), Brian “Head” Welch (guitar), Reggie “Fieldy” Arvizu (bass) and Ray Luzier (drums). The night was accented with the “kage” – a large cage-like area that took over the stage behind the band, full of some of the group’s most devoted fans.
