Nicky Hilton Writes Style Handbook
Heiress to the Hilton Hotel empire, Nicky Hilton, has just finished writing her first book, a fashion scrapbook of sorts, to hit the shelves next fall. The focus of the book will be style etiquette and outfit ideas for all seasons intermingled with Hilton’s individual fashion experiences.
“I want it to be personal, and I want to make sure to make a point of I’m not doing a style book to say, ‘Dress like me,’ because that’s stupid,” Hilton stated in an interview with The Cut. She just hopes people can learn from her fashion mistakes and build from her tips to create a personal style.
When asked about how she established her own style she admitted her first inspiration was from the children’s book Eloise and it’s red jumper wearing main character. The stylebook will feature images of Hilton’s old looks, which she says are modernized versions of her childhood favorites.
