On Saturday night, Haute Living Publisher extraordinaire Seth Semilof and I headed to the beautiful SLS hotel on Miami Beach for a superb and intimate event for the Hennessy V.S as we celebrated the brand new GQ MEN’s Book by Assouline at Hyde Beach. The event was hosted by Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade who came hand in hand with his beautiful girlfriend Gabrielle Union.
Guests were treated to small bites from Katsuya and Bazaar, specialty cocktails, music by Ms. Nix and a surprise performance by Hennessy brand ambassador NAS who took the stage and performed his hits – Hate Me Now, Aint Hard To Tell, If I Ruled the World and Made You Look.
I also had a chance to speak with NAS about his watch collection since he was a young boy and his philanthropic endeavors along with his most recent honor, having a fellowship program named after him at Harvard University in Boston, Ma. While introducing myself to the hip-hop mastermind, I informed him that I “showered to your tunes tonight.” After cracking a smile, we made magic for you.
