Haute Event: Masaharu Morimoto and Guy Fieri’s Food Network Celebrations
Friday night, famed Food Network chef Masaharu Morimoto joined his favorite NYC restaurants in presenting delectable seafood samplings at the Harvard Club during the New York City Food & Wine Festival. The sophisticated décor and spacious rooms featured tables by SushiSamba, Crave Fishbar, 15 CPW and more with dessert by Jacques Torres and Sake by Ty.Ku Sake & Spirits.
After enjoying a ‘fish toss’ with Guy Fieri and Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger, Morimoto serenaded the crowd with one of his favorite songs during a special Karaoke hour.
Saturday, restaurateur Guy Fieri hosted his own late night Rock of Ages party at Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar. Don’t let the casual atmosphere fool you—these mouth-watering tastings weren’t your average American fare. The event featured the cast of Broadway’s Rock of Ages show, leaving guests enamored by both the food and the entertainment.
Sponsors included Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Chef Works, Double Cross Vodka, Eater, Sempio, Tsingtao, Ty.Ku, Voss, Blue Moon, Coors Light, El Media Group, Entwine and Pinnacle Vodka.
