Haute Event: Hugh Jackman Hosts Friends of Hudson River Park Gala
A dashingly handsome Hugh Jackman recently hosted the Friends of Hudson River Park Gala at Pier 57, the future site of a community events and retail center. Proceeds from the event went to the privately funded Hudson River Park, the largest open space project in Manhattan since Central Park.
Goldman Sachs and Michael E. Novogratz of Fortress Investment Group were honored at the event along with volunteers and employees who dedicated their time and effort to restore the park post Hurricane Sandy. Attendees of the goodwill gala included committee members Brooke Shields, Martha Stewart, Julianne Moore and Deborra-lee Jackman as well as featured guest Denis Leary and the one and only Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
