First Weekend of World of Fashion at Mall of the Emirates
Tomorrow begins a jam-packed weekend of runway shows from international designers showcasing their Autumn/Winter collection at the Mall of the Emirates.
The weekend kicks off with styles from Tommy Hilfiger’s latest collection including four not-to-miss fashion shows beginning at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm. On Friday, the runway will transform into a ‘High Street Bazaar’ with fashion for everyone including favorites such as Bershka and Salsa. Shows will be non-stop from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. Katakeet luxury children’s boutique will present their latest collection at 4:00pm on Saturday, 5 October followed by Bebe’s ‘Street Chic NYC’ collection at 6:00pm. DKNY, accompanied by Dubai style blogger Tala Samman, will close out the ‘Fashion City’ show at 7:00pm. On Sunday, Students from ESMOD fashion institute in Dubai will put on two fashion shows, while acclaimed Italian jeweler Roberto Coin will be present to host an event for guests to enjoy.
The weekend will also present the Middle East launch of the ‘Watch Hunger Stop’ by Michael Kors and Halle Barry. The event will take place at the Michael Kors store hosted by popular fashion blogger Alanoud Badr and for every watch sold, 100 meals will be provided to hungry children around the world.
