Chocolate And Wine With A French Touch In Buena Vista

image

Just like the adjacent Miami Design District, the Buena Vista brand just keeps growing. Starting with the famous Buena Vista Bistro, known for French food in an easy going atmosphere, then the Buena Vista Deli. Now, ladies and gentlemen, behold Buena Vista Chocolate and Wine. As you might imagine, this little shop is right next to the other two on N.E. 2nd, has chocolate and wine. But, you might not imagine that they have curry-infused chocolate, ganache with saffron, and even violet among other delicacies thought up by owner Claude Postel. Postel’s family has had a very long, and (we hear) royal history of making chocolates in France so it’s no wonder their assortment labeled 1-9, which includes Hazelnut, Caramel, Coffee, Almonds and Lime ganache, looks so regal. There are also hard-to-find French wines like Chateau Bel Air Pomerol 2003 from Bordeaux, which is a steal at $65.
