Billy Joel To Headline Governor Cuomo’s Birthday Bash

Governor Andrew Cuomo is celebrating his 56th birthday with the musical stylings of Billy Joel. On Dec. 3, the “Uptown Girl” singer will headline a VIP gala to celebrate the Governor’s 2014 re-election campaign and his birthday.

Top-tier tickets for the high-society event will sell for $50,000, which will include a table for 10 plus three passes to meet Joel. The location of the December bash has not yet been decided.

Joel and Cuomo have been friends for many years and recently spent an afternoon doing volunteer work together in Nassau County. On 9/11 the two even took a motorcycle ride with firefighters to the site of Ground Zero.
